Arriving by Bus from the Ferry

On arrival at the Stari Grad ferry, there are two buses waiting to transport passengers, the first to Hvar Town and the second to Jelsa.  

Take the Jelsa bus, which will stop first in Stari Grad and (depending on which ferry) some of the inland villages as well, before dropping you off at the bus station in Vrboska by the main bridge opposite the old town.  Place your luggage in the undercarriage of the bus.

Please note there is no bus meeting the peak season 01:30 crossing, so make alternative arrangements.  There are no connecting buses from the ferry and catamaran crossings to Jelsa, Hvar Town and Sucuraj.

If you are arriving by bus to Split to catch the ferry, the bus station is about 30m from the ferry.  More information about bus timetables to and from Split can be seen on the Split bus station website (link below).
